Types of U.S. Student Visas

1. F-1 Student Visa

The most common visa for international students pursuing academic programs at U.S. universities, colleges, or language schools.

Eligibility: Requires admission from a SEVP-approved institution and proof of financial support.

Work Opportunities: On-campus work allowed (up to 20 hours per week); Optional Practical Training (OPT) for post-study work experience.

2. J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa
